Riiip with Brody the Kid #28 National preview and more!

I am back with another edition of Riiip with Brody the Kid! Let’s get to it!

Prizm football is finally out, one of the best and most famous sets of the year. There are so many parallels to chase, especially the key certain color blast cards that everyone loves. It has become one of the most famous cards in the Hobby. Now, it is very expensive though so try to find some retail Prizm, because this stuff is a fun rip.

The National is a couple weeks away, and I am so excited for Atlantic City! It’s going to be the biggest National ever. I am the Official Kid Host of The National and I am excited to bring content to all of you from there. Keep an eye on my socials as I am going to keep breaking down the show in the upcoming weeks. I will also drop a blog before the event with everything you should know to have fun and a great experience at The National!

For now, though, I would like to tell you about my interview with Singles Club. They are one of the most fun booths at The National as all cards are a dollar each. Make sure you check out my show Hobby Life to see that interview. This is the start of me sharing different, great booths that you should check out at the show. Some great set-ups in the past you’ve seen are Topps, Panini, Upper Deck…all the companies are very fine stops during the show. I will keep giving you all the awesome booths to go to. As well, we have Pristine Auctions running the auction for Signatures for Soldiers this year that I am very excited for as well. I will have more info on that soon, but for now, make sure to check their socials as some items are already up for bid. Now let’s talk about Atlantic City, which is an interesting location. I am excited to see the other things to do while you are not at the show. It looks like there are a lot of fun restaurants and the Boardwalk looks like a lot of fun. This will be my first time there, so I cannot wait to check it out.

Let’s talk cards! Here are some of my favorite budget friendly products for kids that are out now. Make sure to keep an eye out for some of this fun stuff!

WWE Revolution- Very good-looking cards with potential for on card autos and more, love the set.

Diamond Kings Baseball- Potential for some crazy veteran hits with a guarantee of 2 hits per box!

 

Elite Tmall Football- Not a set where you are looking for autos, but it is not very expensive with the chance at very low numbered parallels and rookies. A fun rip.

Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey- A flagship set, but these cards look so awesome and have some very cool inserts to look for. In my opinion, I think it’s the best flagship set.

There are some of my best budget boxes in the Hobby! These are some good ones to look for at The National, as well!

A person/player to buy now – Pat McAfee. He had the greatest onside kick ever, but now is doing so much more. You’ll see him on College Gameday, he has a HUGE web show that he recently signed a contract for reportedly 4 years, 120 million dollars with FanDuel to sponsor! And he is one of the WWE Smackdown announcers and is a fan favorite. He is going to be fighting Happy Corbin at SummerSlam! He will now have a match at SummerSlam and his win at WrestleMania. He also just signed an extension with WWE. Find your cards of him now! He is going to be a hot one in the hobby.
