Inside the Pack: Big League Cards Chosen to Host Special 2023 Topps Series 1 Party

A week from today, 2023 Topps Series 1 will debut on store shelves. Across the country, 20 hobby shops were chosen by Topps for a special celebration marketing the flagship product’s release, and Big League Cards in Casselberry, FL is honored to be one of them. Big League, along with the other 19 specially-chosen local card shops, will have special limited-edition t-shirts, totes, and other exciting happenings surrounding the product launch next Wednesday, February 15.

“It’s a great honor for our store to be one of 20 in the country selected by Topps,” said Alan Narz, owner of Big League Cards. “While local card stores all over the nation will also be having a party for 2023 Topps, we feel honored that we were one of the few to have these special Topps giveaways.”

With so many hobby shops across the country, it certainly is an honor to be chosen for this occasion. Narz and the crew at Big League aren’t stopping at simply giving out Topps swag, however. They plan to “do it up big,” noted Narz, with events like Pack Wars, Price Challenge, and very special wheel spins occurring throughout the day. There will also be special prizes throughout the day. The festivities and prizes will be so huge that Big League will be staying open for an extra hour (11 AM to 7 PM), and there will be prizes every hour!

The release of Series 1 is typically one of the best moments for card collectors across the country, as it kicks off that year’s baseball card releases. With the added excitement of giveaways and tons of fun at Big League and 19 other prestigious shops, it’s sure to be an even better day. Stay tuned next week for my review of 2023 Topps Series 1.
